All About Me...

For the first time since I've gotten this camera these pictures are all about me...

I recently purchased a tripod and had a lot of fun trying it out. I put my boys to bed, turned on a couple of lamps to experiment with lighting, and set my camera to timer. I must say, I am rather impressed by how fast I have picked up on the techniques I've learned in the last 30 days. This is a crop of the original photo but I like it none the less. Here are a few more shots that I took...

In this shot I was thinking about some events occuring with me and had a lot of heavy stuff on my mind. Life can be like a woman sometimes, mistreat her and she will turn bitchy. I haven't figured out the best way to avoid the flash from reflecting off of my glasses though. And I am in the process of learning how to take head shots and portrait pictures. Again I used the tripod, adjusting the pan head and the lighting a little bit but again I am impressed with the shot. This is also a crop of the original. But, moving on to the next photo...

In this shot I was thinking happy thoughts. I can't be serious all of the time. I was trying not to look directly into the camera (because of my glasses). Actually I was thinking, OMG I'm gonna be driving soon! After looking at this picture I asked my older sister to give me back my face, lol. I had to use my zoom lens on the camera to get this shot. I also slightly adjusted the lights and the panhead of the tripod. Marvelous, simply marvelous. On to some more beautiful shots, ta-ta for now...
